Regio Earth is an itinerant annual event organized by the Recult Association and Terrapia Workshop together with partners from several Central and Easter European countries. The 2023 edition was held in Timisoara and included the West University of Timisoara and Greenfeel as partners. The Regio Earth 2023 International Summer School, hosted at GreenFeel, gathered specialists/teachers and participants from around the world for hands-on certified training in the use of earth for construction, around the following topics:decorative plastering, rammed earth floors, japanese construction techniques, and construction of an earth oven. For the duration of the summer school, the participants also experienced Banat’s gastronomic heritage, with meals being prepared by two local cooks from ingredients sourced mainly from Margina, in rural Banat.
